Biography

Referring to her musical style as "cyber jazz", Solene is both dreamily nostalgic and majestically futuristic. If jazz were played in a smoky cyberpunk bar 100 years from now, you’d find Solene sumptuously draped across its piano enchanting the audience with her voice.

Solene began her career as a traditional jazz singer until 2019 when she teamed up with renowned Japanese lo-fi producer minthaze to create her genre-defying debut single Downer Vibe, amassing over 1 million streams across on YouTube. Solene later released her first EP "Book of Shadows", a unique fusion of dusty boom bap, jazz, and brooding neo-soul with Grammy-winning producer Conductor Williams. Eager to live in both the jazz and hip hop worlds, Solene became a frequent collaborator with legendary hip hop rapper and producer Termanology, leading her to work with other hip-hop icons such as Paul Wall, AZ, & Statik Selektah, J. Rawls, and Talib Kweli.

Dedicated to being part of the movement to keep jazz alive while also staying true to her mission to usher in an era of opulent futurism, Solene carefully crafted her elegant cyber jazz sound and released her groundbreaking album “Chase the Stars” in 2024, followed by a collaborative single with Conductor Williams "Flash".

She is currently touring with Talib Kweli to promote her upcoming album with J. Rawls "Midnight Angel".
